The Resist Hat project was inspired by the 2016 US Presidential election, and over the last 7 years it has grown to encompass over 100 hats and a variety of hopes, causes, and languages. Each hat in this series has been given away, with only the request that the recipient donate in some way to a community or organization of their choosing. All hats in languages other than English were requested by people from those communities.
