I come from a long line of people who made and designed clothing, and I always wanted to do the same. My first creations were no-sew dresses for my dolls (staples ftw!), made of everything from flowers to ribbons to bits of cloth rags. They were, as I’m sure you can imagine, utterly fabulous.
After dreaming of knitting for nearly a decade, I finally learned in my mid twenties and have pretty much never looked back. Over the past two decades I’ve knitted my way through grad school, a cross country move, raising children, living in India, and many of the curve balls that life throws at all of us. Knitting helps me quiet my mind and focus, it helps me to be present, and it allows me to express myself and connect with amazing, beautiful people the world over. I can’t imagine my life without it!
My patterns reflect the kind of world I want to live in: one that celebrates all kinds of people, cultures, and bodies. They’re fun to knit, fun to wear, and hopefully bring a smile to your face.
